Who We Are
James W. Imports, a new division of Hensley Beverage Company, is a wine importer and distributor based in Phoenix, Arizona. Named after our founder, James W. Hensley, we are comprised of a distinct sales team focused solely on wine, ensuring wine expertise all the while embracing the reliability & great customer service that for 55 years has been synonymous with the Hensley name.
At James W. Imports we believe in wines with integrity and authenticity. We have traveled thousands of miles and have worked diligently to navigate the sea of wines out there, to bring to our customers wines that speak of their makers and of the soils from which the grapes grow. Our portfolio represents some of the most sought after small family producers, as well as some of the best values from their respective regions within France, Italy and the USA. As the direct importer and distributor, we are able to offer our wines to the market at a significantly lower price, and because we work with the wineries directly, we have developed strong relationships, ensuring the authenticity and value of the wines.
We take great care in the handling of our wines, transporting them directly from the winery to our warehouse under constant climate-controlled conditions. Our warehouse is the largest climate-controlled warehouse in the state of Arizona, maintaining a perfect 58 degrees. From the winery to our customers’ shelves, we ensure that James W. Import’s wines have been selected and handled with the exceptional care they deserve.
